The Kagayaki Whetstone #1000 is great entry level whetstone. The Kagayaki series is crafted from Naniwa's renowned Super Stone material, it is designed to last, and provides precision sharpening for a reliable edge. The #1000 grit stone is an integral part of any sharpening progression. Perhaps more important than any other stone, when it comes to sharpening.
