At Modern Cooking we take pride in the role we play in the knife making community. The close relationships we have with the makers we work with allow us to produce some of the most incredibly unique and beautiful culinary tools available.

The pieces found in this section of our site are the result of years of dedication both in terms of our efforts to curate a network of the best and most talented artisans from around the world, and foster collaborations between those craftspeople.

Undeniable skill and a humble nature needs to be present for a collaboration to be a success. Each artisan needs to compliment the others style for the result to be a homogenous representation of the participants work. This makes collaborative work some of the most time consuming and challenging, but when successful, unique and beautiful.
