Michał Lipiński

Michał was initially trained by his blacksmith grandfather. Learning to use heat and tools to make his ideas tangible, useful objects was deeply inspiring and drove him to specialize in artistic metal work at Art School, where he became fascinated with culinary knives.

Michał went on to study industrial design, at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts, with the hope of improving his knife designs.

Now a full-time knife maker, the blacksmith hobby that began with a visit to his grandfather is now his life’s passion. Michał sees his knives as highly decorative objects with a performance first design. We agree!

These knives feature amazing quality and fit and finish, great ergonomics and high performance, thin convex grinds. Michał is an innovative designer creating unique finishes that look incredible.
