This knife is simply about fun! Designed to bring joy in to the kitchen and a smile to your face. By no mean a simple knife to make though, in fact tall blades like this are always a challenge and with the techniques used by Milan this is an impressive piece of work for sure.
A lovely forged distal taper and bevels make this mini cleaver an absolute pleasure to work with. The k-tip is thin and sharp and a delight for the details and the tall blade with its thin and sharp edge will move with ease through most produce.
This one is not short on looks either. Clad in a nice subtle Damascus, which is Kasumi polished at the edge and brushed Nashiji towards the spine the finish a very captivating style. Paired with an antique style handle constructed out of Boxwood with a brass collar and pin the knife has an old world feel to it.
Very comfortable to hold, a delightful cutting action, incredible finish that is easy on the eyes. This is just a joyful knife full of style and class. With a 64 HRC 135Cr3 core it is also tough and durable.

Product Care
Product Care
Cleaning: Clean by hand with warm water. Avoid wetting the handle when possible.
Sharpening: We advise using whetstones to sharpen your knives and a honing rod or steel to maintain the burr between sharpening sessions.
Reactive Steels: Reactive steels like Aogami Super, Apex Ultra or premium reactive German and Swedish steels are susceptible to rust if not properly cared for. Keep the knife dry between uses and when storing for longer periods, wiping the blade with Tsubaki oil or another food-safe oil is a wise choice. A patina can be a beautiful personal feature on your knife and helps to stop rust forming.
Handle Care: For non-stabilised wooden handles, apply Tsubaki oil or another food-safe oil from time to time. Food-safe wax can be applied to both stabilised and non-stabilised wooden handles. Never apply hot wax or oil as you risk warping or damaging the handle.
