Here is an absolutely stunning piece of work from Lew Griffin, contemporary styling and geometry paired with a subtle and beautiful stabilized curly linden handle and saya. As you draw the knife from its protective saya the blade, with its wild, pitch-black forced patina, almost appears dripping in the bright nickel and stainless cladding that envelops the 52100 core.
The blade itself features a nice thin “S” geometry and aggressive K-Tip profile. Its subtle curve that moves nicely on the board. The “S” provides improved food release and the spine, which is thick above the heel and thins down dramatically towards the tip gives the knife a versatile feel. Comfortable at work with tough root vegetable and more delicate produce this is certainly high-performance all-rounder.
The beautiful Saya and handle combination in stabilised curly linden has a beautiful delicate vibe that gives the knife an elegant look and doesn’t overshadow the iconic Lew Griffin blade within. This is a very cool piece from Lew featuring his perfect fit and finish, 1st class performance and classic ergonomics.
An exceptional addition to any kitchen.

Product Care
Product Care
Cleaning: Clean by hand with warm water. Avoid wetting the handle when possible.
Sharpening: We advise using whetstones to sharpen your knives and a honing rod or steel to maintain the burr between sharpening sessions.
Reactive Steels: Reactive steels like Aogami Super, Apex Ultra or premium reactive German and Swedish steels are susceptible to rust if not properly cared for. Keep the knife dry between uses and when storing for longer periods, wiping the blade with Tsubaki oil or another food-safe oil is a wise choice. A patina can be a beautiful personal feature on your knife and helps to stop rust forming.
Handle Care: For non-stabilised wooden handles, apply Tsubaki oil or another food-safe oil from time to time. Food-safe wax can be applied to both stabilised and non-stabilised wooden handles. Never apply hot wax or oil as you risk warping or damaging the handle.
