An exceptional creation hand forged by artisan bladesmith Martin Huber. With a pointed chef knife profile and full tang handle construction this one is a little different from what we typically see from Martin.
Finely tuned for culinary excellence the knife features a 215mm precision ground edge. The spine measurements reveal a fine and subtle taper, ensuring seamless cutting from heel to tip. Weighing 227g, it offers a perfect balance between heft and control, while the 1.2419 steel core boasting 65 HRC hardness, delivers enduring sharpness.
The 5-layer Go Mai construction of the blade enhances its durability and resilience, while offering a complementary acid-etched, satin-polished finish that radiates character. The flat grind gives the blade a thin and razor sharp cutting edge.
The handle, crafted from an innovative blend of carbon fiber, G10, and honeycomb resin, showcases both aesthetics and comfort. The full tang construction gives the blade a substation and satisfying weight and balance.
Martin Huber's Silverline Chef Knife is more than a tool; it's an embodiment of creativity and design excellence. Whether you're a professional chef or a dedicated home cook, this knife promises an experience that harmonizes form and function, elevating your culinary journey to unparalleled heights.

Product Care
Product Care
Cleaning: Clean by hand with warm water. Avoid wetting the handle when possible.
Sharpening: We advise using whetstones to sharpen your knives and a honing rod or steel to maintain the burr between sharpening sessions.
Reactive Steels: Reactive steels like Aogami Super, Apex Ultra or premium reactive German and Swedish steels are susceptible to rust if not properly cared for. Keep the knife dry between uses and when storing for longer periods, wiping the blade with Tsubaki oil or another food-safe oil is a wise choice. A patina can be a beautiful personal feature on your knife and helps to stop rust forming.
Handle Care: For non-stabilised wooden handles, apply Tsubaki oil or another food-safe oil from time to time. Food-safe wax can be applied to both stabilised and non-stabilised wooden handles. Never apply hot wax or oil as you risk warping or damaging the handle.
