Crafted with uncompromising attention to detail, Martin Huber kitchen knives represent the pinnacle of artisan blade making. In collaboration with Martin, we’ve created an exceptional range that blends timeless craftsmanship with innovative steel technology and thoughtful design.

Each knife is forged from premium materials, including striking 50- and 100-layer Damascus steels, as well as high-performance 1.2419 and Apex Ultra tungsten-alloyed carbon steels—German and Austrian-made steels with performance characteristics akin to Japan’s revered Blue and Blue Super steels. These steels offer incredible edge retention, fine grain structure, and the perfect balance of toughness and hardness, ideal for demanding kitchen environments.

Martin’s blades are renowned for their precise geometry, exceptional taper, and perfectly ground bevels. This results in outstanding balance, effortless food release, and unmatched cutting performance that professionals and passionate home cooks alike will appreciate.

Handles are ergonomically shaped and designed with comfort and control in mind. From classic full-tang Coke bottle silhouettes with elegantly tapered tangs to hidden tang Rokkaku Hanmaru handles, each one is a study in form and function. The selection of handle materials is equally extraordinary—featuring exotic hardwoods like Tasmanian Blackwood, Turkish Walnut, and American Desert Ironwood, as well as rare burls, stabilized bog oak, and resin-bonded synthetics. Many are accented with premium elements such as TruStone, brass, stainless steel, bone, horn, and even in-house Mokume-gane.

Every Martin Huber knife is a masterclass in fit and finish—where traditional techniques meet modern precision. The result is a tool that performs with excellence, feels incredible in hand, and showcases an aesthetic as refined as its edge.

Product Care:

Cleaning: Clean by hand with warm water. Avoid wetting the handle when possible.

Sharpening: We advise using whetstones to sharpen your knives and a honing rod or steel to maintain the burr between sharpening sessions.

Reactive Steels: Reactive steels like Aogami Super, Apex Ultra or one of the many premium reactive German and Swedish steels are susceptible to rust if not properly cared for. In this case we advise that you keep the knife dry between uses and when storing the knife for longer periods wiping the knife blade with Tsubaki oil or another food safe oil is a wise choice. This will not stop a patina forming on the blade, but it will stop rust. A patina can be a beautiful personal feature on your knife and helps to stop rust forming. So, dry your knife regularly between uses, store in a dry place and apply some Tsubaki oil from time to time when storing for long periods.

Handle Care: If you have a knife with a non-stabilised wooden handle, you can apply Tsubaki oil or another food safe oil to your handle from time to time. Food safe wax can be applied to both stabilised and no-stabilised wooden handles. Never apply hot wax or oil as you risk warping or damaging the handle.
