Kamon Knives Gyuto 250mm Pyramid Kurouchi 1.2519Kamon Knives
When it’s a KAMON Knife its always something special, but this time we have something new from the Austrian bladesmith Artisan. There are few knives that have been made by Benjamin Kamon that you would say are not unique. Classic stylistic elements like the "Denty" hammered pattern, the Kurouchi finish and the torpedo endcaps are very consistent, trademark features, but myriad combinations of handle, spacer and endcap materials make each Kamon knife a unique masterpiece.
However, we are very excited to be able to offer this first of its kind "Pyramid" hammered pattern. A totally new and unique finish from Mr. Kamon. It’s an impressive look that emphases the constant and tireless innovation that goes into, not only the performance, but also the styling of these amazing knives.
Paired with a beautiful polished black phenolic resin handle (The same material that billiard balls are made from) with white G10 spacers and concave endcaps the knife is just stunning. The endcaps are not made from copper, though you would be excused for thinking they are from their colour, they are actually hot etched stainless steel. The etching gives the stainless steel a copper oil slick look as Ben describes them.
This one is exclusively available to our newsletter subscribers. If you’re not signed up don’t despair, it won't be the last we hear from KAMON Knives we promise!
