Product Description

The Kurosaki Gyuto 210mm is an amazing piece of craftsmanship. Forged from SG2 high performance powder steel. The first thing you notice about this knife is how thin and razor sharp the blade is and the high-level attention to detail that has gone into its production.

From the spine to the heel master blacksmith Yu Kurosaki has ground off all the edges to leave the knife with a smooth ergonomic hand feel. The balance point on this blade is firmly above the heel, which ensures a comfortable and nimble pinch grip. The Shizuku range of knives are typically very thin, as mentioned above, which means they are also quite light weight for their size.

The handle is an ambidextrous octagonal Wa (Japanese style) handle in Cherrywood with a black Pakkawood ferule. Once again, the craftsmanship on the handle is really nicely done. The handle has been installed nicely and the join between the ferule and the handle are almost seamless.

Overall, it’s hard to fault this knife in any way. We think that once you add one of these knives to your collection it will quickly become your go to blade.
