Nakamura Hamono

Nakamura Hamono, a relatively new workshop that is based in Chiba, Japan and was founded in 2015.This company centres around a team of emerging traditional Japanese blacksmiths, traditional craftsmen and seasoned sharpeners who produce some very high quality knives. Well renowned blacksmiths like Kisuke Manaka have also teamed up with the talented in-house team to develop both the Kaishin range and the Kisuke X Kaishin ranges of knives.

The knives produced are predominantly made with premium carbon steels like Aogami Super and Shirogami #1, & #2. The results speak for themselves and we are very happy to be able to offer these premium value knives at Modern Cooking.
