Krakow based maker Karol Karyś continues to push the limits with this K-tip Gyuto. The blade features a new forge tapered geometry, convex bevels and a walkschliff ground tip. Beautifully balanced, the blade feels light and nimble in the hand and yet the geometry gives the blade a sturdy and stable feel on the board.
Forged SanMai the knife features many of Karol's signature, stylistic, features. Brutalist textures around the pinch point, on the aluminium bolster and the butt of the handle. The blade is dark etched giving the knife a high contrast look that pairs well with the Micarta and aluminium handle. Speaking of the handle it a classic Karyś facetted profile with his bead blasted texture overall.
Karol Karyś continues to push the limits stylistically, but this particular blade seems also make gains in terms of performance, taking his already exceptional cutting performance to new heights. This incredible work from Karol will certainly make for an exceptional everyday driver and a stunning centre piece for your kitchen.
