A striking, silvery nickel lightning bolt runs through two layers of high carbon tool steel 1.2842. This high contrast, performance ground piece of steel extends from a beautiful, ergonomic, tapered rokaku hanmaru grip.
The blade features a relatively long 185mm Nakiri profile. A long flat edge with a slight curve before the nose. The profile feels fantastic as a chopper and perfect for push cutting. A stiff spine with consistent thickness gives the knife stability. The 1.2842 German tool steel is akin to O2, and it takes a fantastic edge.
Getting back to the handle, stabilised plane, which has a unique pattern consisting of hair black and beige grain lines. Tastefully paired with carbon fibre and G10 to complete a very nice piece from Martin Huber.
