The forged linear cross hatch texture traverses the blade and continues into the brass bolster, but then, as if in collaboration with each other, nature almost duplicates the pattern in the figure of the bog oak handle. Stunning!

A thin and beautifully sharp edge with a delightful profile that is a pleasure to work with. Karol's geometry is a stable alrounder, reasonably thick at the spine, but thin and sharp at the edge. Comfortable for all day use and not afraid of tough root vegetables, yet capable of fine slicing.
